Hi. I want to introduce not just myself, but my passion for photography. I am Tracy Brien. I married my handsome, super handy and supportive husband, Tom, in 2006 on the beach in The Outer Banks. We have been together since my senior year in high school. We have three awesome kids; Cooper, Izzy and Selma and two Golden Retrievers, Banx and Frisco (both named after The Outer Banks of course)...all of which are clearly the children of a photographer. They know how to pose before I even tell them. I went to college for Graphic Design and Photography. Along with the photography classes I was taking, I also starting assisting other photographers to learn the business. I photographed my first wedding in 2002 and the rest is history. Tracy Brien Photography was officially established in 2007 and continues to grow each year. My favorite aspect of photography is capturing that exact moment and that precise feeling that you want to cherish forever and making it tangible.
Let me first discuss my wedding photography. When I photograph your wedding, you will be able to relax, have fun and savor every moment of the day knowing that I will capture the candid, most precious and intimate moments that will immortalize the true essence of your day. Your portraits, posed and semi-posed, will be done with the utmost professionalism. In fact, my goal is for you to often forget that I am even there. This day is about you...two people starting their lives together.
I want to tell your story through my camera. I will capture the smile on your face when you slip the ring on one another’s fingers, the tear in your eye when you say your vows, your first MARRIED kiss and the way you look at each other during your first dance (my personal favorite part of the wedding day). When you look through your wedding album, my goal is to take you back to that day! These are the photos that you will hang on your walls in your home, share with your kids and, one day your grandchildren. To me, retelling and sharing your love story is simply romantic. So relish in your wedding day and don't worry about anything else.
My next love of photography is that of portraits. I have a small studio in my home that I absolutely LOVE, however, if I keep aquiring props, I won't have any room left. Whether in my studio or on location, I offer a relaxing, stress free, family oriented environment to ensure that the right moments are captured. Some times it takes time to get the perfect picture, whether the baby needs changed or fed, the toddler needs a minute to be a toddler or someone needs an outfit change or make-up touch up. I want you to feel comfortable so that your photo session doesn’t feel fake or forced. There is no rush. I promise a fun and care free photo shoot.
I love photography and I love what I do. To me, it’s not work, it’s fun. I am just as excited to see your photographs as you are. I can't wait to download and edit them, but I am even more excited to share your photos with you.
Remember…photography is an investment, not an expense. I look forward to working with you.
Your memories are safe with me!
